Refund Policy

Donations on Frepali are generally final because funds are intended to support campaigns. However, we may assist with refunds in limited situations described below.

1) When refunds may be possible

Refunds may be considered if:

  • A donation was unauthorized (e.g., fraudulent use of your payment method).
  • A donation was made in error (wrong amount or duplicate payment) and you contact us quickly.
  • A campaign is found to violate our rules (fraud, prohibited content, or legal issues).
  • A payment was processed but the campaign did not receive it due to a technical issue.

2) How to request a refund

Email us at support@frepali.com and include:

  • Your name and email used (if any)
  • Donation amount and date/time
  • Campaign link or campaign ID
  • Transaction reference (Stripe/PayPal ID)
  • Reason for the request

3) Payment processor disputes

Some refunds and disputes may need to be handled directly through your payment provider (Stripe/PayPal) or through your bank/card issuer. If you file a chargeback, the Payment Processor may investigate and we may be required to provide information about the transaction.

4) Processing time

If approved, refunds are sent back to the original payment method. Timing depends on the Payment Processor and your bank (often 5–10 business days).
