Frepali took no points from this account: the balance went down because accounts were unfollowed. We checked the points record point by point.
What happened on 24 October:
• The day started at 949 points, the number in the post.
• The account earned 108 points: 20 from likes, 15 from comments, 20 from two posts, 5 from a new follower and 48 from following 24 accounts. The highest balance was 1,029 points, the "1.02" in the post.
• During the same minutes, 28 accounts were unfollowed. Unfollowing takes back the 2 points each follow earned: 56 points.
• That left 1,001 points (949 + 108 − 56), more than at the start of the day.
The rule is in the app under ☰ → My Points: following an account earns 2 points once, unfollowing takes them back, and following the same account again earns nothing.
